Description

Zalmoxis the Dacian God is a mysterious deity worshipped by the Getae tribe known as the Dacians.

He was mentioned first by Herodotus. He said that Zalmoxis was Pythagora’s apprentice, he went to share his knowledge with the dacians. After his death, Zalmoxis was worshipped as a human that became god.

A lot of mist surround Zalmoxis and his deeds. The human that became god due to his knowledge of medicine and afterlife, which it is said that he learned from the Egyptians.
